Terms of Service

NamSignal is an independent online business-opportunity intelligence platform designed to help businesses discover and monitor tenders, requests for quotations, requests for proposals, expressions of interest, supplier opportunities, grants and other business opportunities.

NamSignal aggregates, organises, classifies and presents opportunity information obtained from third-party organisations and public sources.

NamSignal does not issue, administer, award or adjudicate procurement opportunities and is not part of the organisations whose opportunities appear on the platform.

By creating an account, accessing or using NamSignal, you agree to these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use the service.

You must provide accurate account and business information. You are responsible for:

• maintaining the security of your login credentials;
• activities performed through your account;
• keeping your business profile, services and opportunity preferences reasonably current.

Accounts may not be used to impersonate another person or organisation or to obtain unauthorised access to NamSignal.

NamSignal helps you discover opportunities but does not replace the original procurement or opportunity notice. The issuing organisation remains the authoritative source for:

• requirements and specifications
• documents
• eligibility
• briefing information
• submission procedures
• amendments and clarifications
• closing dates and times
• awards and procurement decisions.

You must use "View Original Opportunity" and verify the source before preparing or submitting a response.

NamSignal does not guarantee that every available opportunity will be discovered or listed.

NamSignal may classify opportunities by sector, service, region, opportunity type and related criteria, and may calculate a Signal Score based on your selected active services and business preferences.

Signal Scores and match labels are decision-support tools only. They do not represent:

• eligibility confirmation;
• procurement advice;
• a recommendation from the issuing organisation;
• a prediction that you will win an opportunity;
• a guarantee that the opportunity is suitable for your business.

You remain responsible for determining whether you qualify.

Opportunity information belongs to or originates from third-party institutions and organisations. NamSignal may provide links to external websites and documents.

NamSignal does not control those third-party websites and is not responsible for their availability, security, content or subsequent changes.

If information displayed by NamSignal differs from the issuing organisation's current official information, the official source takes precedence.

Eligible new users may receive a 30-day Business Trial. The trial:

• begins only after onboarding is completed;
• does not require payment details;
• does not automatically charge you;
• does not automatically convert into a paid plan.

The trial provides Business-plan access, including unlimited active services, for 30 days. It is not restarted or automatically extended.

When the trial ends and no paid plan has been purchased, your account moves to the Free plan. Your account and saved services are kept; up to 3 services can remain active for matching. You can upgrade to a paid plan at any time once online subscription activation is available.

Current plans may include Free, Small Business, Business and Business Pro. Plan features and prices are displayed on the NamSignal Pricing page.

Current active-service entitlements are:

• Free — up to 3 active services
• Small Business — up to 10 active services
• Business — unlimited active services
• Business Pro — unlimited active services.

Saved services may be retained when you change plans, but only the number permitted by your current plan may remain active for matching. You can manage which saved services are active.

Paid plans are billed monthly. Production online payment processing is being connected separately and is not yet enabled.

You will not be charged unless you actively choose a paid plan and complete payment through a production payment provider. A paid subscription begins only after that payment is confirmed.

Before production billing is activated, NamSignal's payment terms and these Terms of Service will be reviewed and updated where necessary.

NamSignal may provide in-app opportunity alerts. Email, WhatsApp or other communication channels may be introduced or activated separately.

The availability of an alert channel does not guarantee delivery of every notification. You remain responsible for checking the platform and original opportunity sources.

You may not:

• attempt to bypass security or access controls;
• access another user's private information;
• interfere with NamSignal's operation;
• scrape or overload the service in an abusive manner;
• use the platform for unlawful or fraudulent purposes;
• attempt to alter Signal Scores, opportunity records or protected system data without authorisation.

NamSignal aims to provide a reliable service but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. Access may occasionally be affected by maintenance, technical failure, third-party hosting, source website downtime, network failure or changes made by issuing organisations.

NamSignal may suspend or terminate an account where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, abuse, material breach of these Terms, unlawful use, or protection of the service and its users.

You may request account deletion through the available account controls.

The NamSignal name, branding, platform design, software and original platform materials remain the property of their respective owner(s).

Third-party opportunity notices, documents, trademarks and institutional content remain the property of their respective rights holders.

NamSignal is an information and opportunity-intelligence service. NamSignal does not provide procurement, legal, financial or professional advice.

NamSignal does not guarantee the completeness of opportunity coverage, successful qualification, successful submission, award of a contract, funding approval, or any commercial outcome.

You should obtain appropriate professional advice where necessary.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, NamSignal is not responsible for indirect, incidental or consequential loss resulting from reliance on opportunity information, missed opportunities, third-party source changes, source outages or use of the service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is not permitted by applicable law.

NamSignal may update the platform or these Terms as the service develops. Material changes will be communicated appropriately through the platform or other available communication channels. The effective date at the top of this page shows when these Terms were last updated.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the Republic of Namibia.
